Banning/Rating Policies

Combined ROR/AOE/AOC Banning and Rating Policy

Please note the following regarding complaints:

1. When adjusting ratings for a game - we will reset only we do not give win points.
2. We only accept complaints placed within 14 days of the date of the match concerned, anything older, other than point trading, will not be considered.

Incompletes (-300 after 10 incomplete games) :: The act of disconnecting from a game in order to avoid point loss which results in an incomplete.
Action needed :: At least 10 incomplete game links that clearly show player resigned within first 60 seconds from game start to make game unrated. Incompletes need to be checked to show the player as the loser in the match link (ie to the right). All games must be within 3 mins duration and 0 points awarded.

-> Sync'ing (-500 points after 3 reports further reports = Ban):: Purposley sync'ing of a game - when clear evidence that a player has sync'd a game a note will be added to their profile. For x3 reports -500 point adjustment will be made to their account. Further report will resort in a ban.
.:: Evidence - Saved game and screen shot of sync'ing message ::.

-> Refusing to continue (on the voting screen after a player disconnects) (-150 points):: Refusing to continue: The act of holding a game at the voting screen (for a period of 5 mins or more) by either forcing all players to save and exit or resign in an effort to avoid a loss. This is done by picking save and exit or wait instead of continue. Proof = Screen Shot of voting screen (using www.fraps.com) and recorded game.
.:: If there is no match link, then provide screenshot from rated room, so we can clearly see that the game was played in IGZones, preferably before the lobby is resumed or request the assistance of a moderator while the game is still in play and who can verify the game was rated. A warning can be copy and pasted from the moderator to the game screen in order to achieve a resolution::.

-> Cheating (-500 points after 1 report & ban):: Cheating can be any type of 3rd party program or trick being used to make sure the player wins the game, this requires evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that the person is truly trying to cheat, and the anti-cheat engine is not detecting the player. Evidence:: Recorded Game is required & evidence in the recorded game clearly pointing to cheating.
.:: If there is no match link, then provide screenshot from rated room, so we clearly see, that the game was played in IGZones. ::.

-> Dropping players to avoid points-loss
For single matches where a player has dropped and server awards such player all points - Game reset and profile checked
.:: Evidence::. Match link and saved game
If no match link available but saved game clearly shows a player purposley crashing/dropping games a note will be added to a players profile.

-> Dropping players to avoid points-loss (-200 points after 3 reports):: If a player has dropped other players more than 3 times and there is clear evidence of this then -200 points should be inserted into his/her profile.
.:: Evidence::. Match Links and saved games.
Subsequent tries should lead to point loss by 200 points or temporary ban.

-> Point Trading (-400 points after 5 games):: Point trading is the act of using a friends account or a second account to increase/decrease the points of another account, in a case where the rating history clearly shows 5 or more games using that method (no matter if one player or more were implicated in manipulating the player account). The games played are usually below 10 minutes, and statistics clearly show that the game was not played normally. Then it should be noted that this player is a point trader and should be given -400 points. The account(s) that has been used to manipulate opponents points should be blocked. Subsequent tries should be banned. If you're getting caught a second time point trading, we may not require 5 or more games to take actions. .::Evidence::. Match Links

-> Cheat Map (-150) :: Hosting maps other than the IGZ approved rated maps that provide a significant advantage to the host, but named the same as an IGZ map, making it rated and tricking players into thinking it is a map IGZ supports.
.:: Evidence::. Match link and saved game.

-> Exploiting of a Map Bug (-150 points):: When a player knowingly uses a known or unknown map bug to gain an advantage and prevent a loss (For example kings in stores making player invincible or power-up spots for raising of AP). Evidence required: Saved game and match link.

-> Booting in Rated Game (-200):: A player using a map booter in order to give advantage or avoid point loss.
.:: Evidence::. Match link and saved game.

General Client Rules

-> Incessantly Advertising Non-IGZ websites (mute, ban) :: Constantly sending links to irrelevant websites will result in action being taken, a mute first, and a ban if it continues, depending on the content. Links to offensive / shock sites will result in an immediate ban.

-> Cursing or spamming :: Cursing in lobby or spamming should be warned to stop unless it is an 30-second-interval advertising of a game room. Warn, warn again, mute, kick, and if continues ban -- in that order.

-> Racism against groups/ethnicities/religions/players :: Warn first, then kick, and if continues ban.

-> Excessive complaining or aggressiveness when talking in lobby :: Warn, Warn again, mute, kick, and if continues ban.

It is important to understand that all players choosing to play in IGZ must obey these rules or consequences will be given out by authorized personnel. This is important to force many trouble makers to change their ways and just play the game for fun rather than for their own personal vendettas or goals.
